Boardwalk Porsche’s 2011 Cayenne Launch Party

Boardwalk Porsche hosted a celebration August 5 to mark the arrival of the reengineered 2011 Cayenne in Dallas-Fort Worth. The event featured signature cocktails from Ketel One, live music from Ricki Derek, and distinctive fashions from Markham Jewelers. The launch party also generated funds for Paws ‘n’ Wheels, an organization benefiting animal welfare.

Since its debut in 2003 when it upended the traditional Porsche paradigm, the Cayenne has redefined sport utility transport. For 2011 Porsche engineers shaved some 400 pounds from its already svelte form, creating a more agile Cayenne. Result: the new Cayenne propels with unprecedented stability and efficiency.

The new Cayenne comes in four trim levels: the base Cayenne with a 300 horsepower V6, the 400-horsepower Cayenne S fitted with a 4.8 liter V8; the Cayenne S Hybrid with a 380 horsepower V6, and the flagship Cayenne Turbo with a potent twin turbo 4.8-liter V8 unleashing 500 horses.
